We would like to extend our appreciation to families for supporting us through another year of learning and fun! Thanks to YOU, we have an incredible school community! It has been wonderful to see students enjoying field trips and a variety of other activities to close out the school year.
We would like to wish our grade eight students all the best as they transition to high school and welcome our grade seven students to their upcoming leadership role at ÉLES.
In addition, several staff members are off to new adventures next year, including Ms. Byrnes, Mr. Hennenfent, Ms. Kayter, Ms. Granello, Mme Cottenie, and Ms. Barclay-Wright. We are grateful for their dedication and collegiality and know that their unique strengths will carry them forward with great success.
A special congratulations goes out to Mrs. King who is retiring! She finished her career by doing some incredible projects with her Pre-kindergarten students, and without a doubt we will miss walking down the hallways and seeing the beautiful visual artwork that she inspired in many of our classrooms!
As we step into summer holidays there are a few things to note:
-Report cards will be published electronically on June 27th for families to view.
-The comment section of the report card will include the 2025/2026 class placement for each student. Please know that student placements are completed by our team with careful consideration for the academic and social success of all students. ÉLES parents have been wonderful partners in this process, and we very much appreciate your trust and support. Although we do our best to design classroom configurations with existing information, enrollment fluctuations could necessitate changes in the fall.
-The 2025 Backpack Drop-Off will take place on Wednesday, August 27th between 5:00 and 6:00 pm.
